Ever Wonder

Ever wonder why the news in all its forms focuses on a rather narrow sliver of what's happening? Ever wonder why they all seem to focus on the same stories? They might disagree, but they are covering the same stories. Unless you suspend your common sense, you must conclude that there is something behind the news in all its mainstream glory focusing the content. I am including Fox News in this. This is not about left or right, democrat or republican, or any other divisions. Folks, things are being done to all of us, regardless of our ideology. Power and freedom and individuality are being slowly pulled out from under us. We are like the proverbial frog in the pot. The temperature is gradually increasing in the water. We don't seem to be noticing how hot it is. We are noticing a temperature change, but we aren't aware of the severity or who the cook is increasing the flame.

We have been sidelined in the game. We are no longer in control. We are paying attention to things that don't matter. We have let the cares of this world be the cloak that hides the usurpers of our self-determination. I am asking people to pay attention. Why are those that question labeled as extremists or worse? Why are we being directed to fight each other? We are like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. We are paying attention to the Great and Powerful Oz, but we are paying no mind to the man behind the curtain. Wake up. Everything is right in front of you if you will only open your mind and eyes.

The power elite will always protect the power elite regardless of party affiliation. They don't care what the People are experiencing. They don't listen to the problems the People are voicing. Why are there never solutions from the leaders we have elected? Why do the things that need to be done never get done. We have bailed out big business and have done nothing for those in need. We have had non-financial crises in this country for decades, yet nothing has been done. Education, inner-city poverty, rural poverty, out sourcing, plant closures, immigration, and many other issues are not being addressed. These are not issues that should be solved by further involvement of the power elite. The People should solve these. We have the power. We can solve these problems as a nation of individuals. However, we allow the looting of the national purse for the bailing out of corrupt, failing businesses, and yet we do nothing. We wait for the power elite to solve our problems while they steal from us, but we have the power to fire them and take care of ourselves.

Wake Up. Quit playing by their rules.

Eventually, we will not be allowed, anymore, by our consciences to do nothing! Eventually, some or many will either act or react. The former is usually much better than the latter, in most cases. Henry Drees

We should vote in a 3rd party to take back what is the founding fathers ideas of a free person and country. We do need a Military to defend our Country but they should never turn on us. They did in Louisiana after the storm! I have served in the military and I only agreed to upheld the US Constitution!

Power Elite? You need to point out who exactly controls. It's nice to ass-u-me but it doesn't do jack-squat. It's obvious that the media is out to entertain and not inform. But is there a central initiative behind their stories? Is there a covering-up by the American-styled Illuminati? You need information on this crap before declaring a conclusion. Find that and I would support your dissemination with my own resources.

Most network/cable news is corporate owned. So, I am not surprised by the lack of content and the lack of focus on the real issues. Take for instance, General Electric owns NBC and its affiliates. Jeffrey Immelt is the CEO of General Electric. Jeffrey Immelt also sits on the board of directors of the New York Federal Reserve bank; the very same bank that handled the bailout of General Electric, and I haven't seen any investigative reporting from NBC on this glaring conflict of interest.

Most the news and media coming into your living room via TV is supplied by only three large media companies. So the lack of diversity in the content is no surprise.
